We have been providing care at home since 1993. Following a successful career as a Registered Nurse, Clare was seeking a change of direction that would accommodate raising a young family. Care Concern was the answer – blending Clare’s nursing skills and high standards for care as well as bringing new challenges including learning how to run a company!
Initially the service was managed from Clare’s home in Ealing though it wasn’t long before we moved to an office. Ten years later, in 2003, we moved to Chiswick. Two further moves have brought us to our happy home in the Barley Mow Centre in central Chiswick. It’s a great location that allows our care workers, clients and their families to pop in throughout the week.
Clare still has an active full-time role in the company which includes meeting new clients and setting up personalised care packages. The day-to-day management of your care is overseen by our experienced and dedicated care team led by Aghileh, our Registered Manager, a qualified nurse.
Over the last 25 years we have built a wealth of experience in supporting our clients to continue living safely at home in Chiswick, Ealing and the neighbouring areas. There aren’t many situations or challenges that are new to us. And when there is something new, our experience has taught us that being flexible and thinking creatively will help us find solutions to suit everybody.
The way we work is underpinned by five core values:
Empathy and sympathy for our clients’ circumstances and needs, and a desire to support them to live their best lives as independently as possible.
Consistency, reliability and integrity in the delivery of our home care service.
Enormous depth of experience in caring for the elderly. Nursing experience in the management team. Staff stay up to date with industry best practice.
Each of our clients is unique, with a wealth of life experiences. We listen to their stories and design care packages to meet their personal needs and preferences.
The foundation of how we work with our clients and how our staff work together.
